Insulting costumer by sending threads

I have been threatend by Edgars for not paying my bill the 1. of January- i only paid today- circumstances- bill of just over R600- i have paid R1000- I am a client for over 35 years now and that is the service you get from them- insulting clients by sending threads- that's not acceptable to me at all- will close my account if this carry on- they should train there people properly Your missed payment on your EDGARS account will be recorded at the credit bureau and will reflect negatively against your name, Pay R631.49 today

No paid up letter received from Edgars

I have been asking for my paid up letter from Edgar for the past 3 days and not getting any assistance and it's very frustrating because no one seems to know what to do, it's very very frustrating dealing with their customer care number, I want my paid up letter ASAP, YOUR LEVEL OF INCOMPETENCY IS TOO MUCH.

I received a call from a collections agent who asked for my ID number. I was not in a position to provide it to her and declined her request for my ID number. She told me it's regarding my overdue Edgars instalment so I told her she can make a note that it will be paid within 24 hours. I asked for the amount and the agent did not disclose it, so I told her I would Check online and then she told me to *** and cut the call. I need an immediate response and copy of the recording. My name is Henrietta Im writing this message on behalf of my Mother. To cut the story short,she is paying her account every month but it does not show that she is paying and she does not get any credit to total. Right now she is going up and down to stores to pay but fir nothing. Its a long story if can anyone assist us please, She realy like the Edgars a lot, but what its doing to her right now she is heartbroken that she is losing a lot if money with something that is useless for her at the moment. Fraud

Unfortunately after 20yrs the company I worked for closed due to deceased estate. We received UIF.

I activated my account protection plan paid since 2002 to be told I do not qualify because I worked for a family owned business and they will no cover my account balance. They closed my account and RCS demanded that I pay my instalments every month and in full. They also indicated they have nothing to do with Edgars clais and that I must sort it out with the insurers,get the payouts and settle the??? What?

I then lodged the claim with Edgars who opened my policy. I took the matter to the Ambudman, for that case to be passed onto 3 different entities, as I was passed onto IUA who runs Edcon policies, they used every excuse not to get this policy activated. When I queried with Hollard, the insurer, the online agent said they have never heard of this. My UIF barely covers my expenses whilst I find alternative income and a policy I spent my life paying doesn't want to pay out but yet they have been collecting my premiums off my Edgars account every month.

When I called Edgars complaints 6mnths ago to have every premium paid, refunded, the agent confirmed it's compulsory to pay on your account and it cannot be refunded or taken off. WHY must I pay for a policy that will not cover me in retrenchment and or death? Edcon collectors RCS have now demanded I settled and pay my account and have adversely updated my credit profile. Can Edcon CEO Grant Pattison assist me with this Ashe assisted many on Twitter?

This is fraud and I want my money refunded or my policy activated that I have paid premiums for since 2002. Is this what lifelong customers have to pay for a takeover and recovery of the Edcon Group?

EFT Payment

I have been to my store to inquire about EFT payment, the details I was provided, and the details on my account are not working. I have tried to load Edgars Store Card as a beneficiary. I have tried using a cheque account, and transmissions account as an account type but ABSA does not accept them. Can you please provide me with the correct information to load to be able to do EFT payments.

Complaint about credit card

I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years. I built up my credit toR14000 . But i didnt usemy card during the carona...now when I went to purchase some jeans they told me my card has expired. Please reactivate my account asap. My account number is700010****02233**** I think it is really unfair thati am treated so badly after so many years. What about m 6398 thankyou points i saved. I am so pissed off.

I bought a heel strap sandal December 3rd and wore it on the 4th , the shoe was very painful and not comfortable I had to take it out at the event and walk barefoot. I tried the shoe again on the 5th of February and it was even worse my feet were swollen . the shoe straps are painful and when I logged a complaint with customer services I am being told the return policy for a refund/exchange is 30 days and the shoes have been worn.I should keep the painful shoe EDGARS CAN LEARN A THING OR TWO ABOUT QUALITY OF THE ITEMS THEY ARE SELLING TO PEOPLE. They are horrible

Cannot get through to the Edgars Greenacres on number provided

I am quite appauled at the lack of updating your store numbers on the internet. I have been trying to call the Edgars Greenacres Branch the whole morning on the number provided on the till slip as 2 items I purchased were not in my bags when I returned home after the lady at the front of the store stopped me to check my bags as I was beeping at the door when leaving the store only to find out 2 t-shirts in my bag had not had their metal detectors removed. I am not sure if she when going through the contents of my bag possibly removed some items and did not return them to my bag at the main exit and entrance of the store.

The number I have been trying to call is 010 593**** and it just rings until you are cut off!!!

I have been a client of Edgars for many, many years and find this lack of service absolutely apalling to say the least.

Please let me have a number to conact them that they will actually answer, thank you
